Had an amazing stay. Super close to the slopes — less than a 5-minute walk to the chairlift into Hirafu, which made getting on the mountain each day super easy. The place was clean and well maintained, with a well-managed drying room and plenty of space allocated for gear. Biggest draw is the location — close to the slopes, food options, and convenience stores. The view from the room was incredible, with Mt Yotei every morning. Maddie, our concierge, was super helpful with food recommendations, getting around town, and general tips. Being able to grab brekky across the road and then head straight to the Family Chairlift (literally a stone’s throw away) made each ski day effortless.

Such a awesome hotel with great rooms, board / ski drying room and amazing front desk staff who cant do enough to make your stay amazing. Sophia was so helpful, fun and always smiling. She got us sorted with netflix and also the app so we could listen to JJJ hottest 100 countdown. Thank you sophia!! Its amazing staff like you who make a holiday great!! From walking out the front door to the right its about 100 mtrs to the family ski lift and coffee vans, or even closer to the V hotel where we had nightly onsens to soak away our aches and pains after a day on the mountain. Go to the left and in about similar distance is the base of town with food trucks, bars, restaurants, ski shops. We spent 10 nights and it was perfect.

“The experience felt like home out of home”
We stayed at Snow Crystal recently and could not have asked for a better place to stay! The location was central, the apartment new and modern with spacious bedrooms, 2 well designed bathrooms, a well equipped open kitchen as well as a laundry and drying racks for ski gear. The family ski lift was close by and the ski lockers clean and easy to access. Our stay was very pleasant and smooth from the friendly check in by Kristen all the way from the front desk service from Rainbow and the others on duty during our stay. The experience felt like home out of home and was exactly what we were hoping for and more! Well done to the Snow Crystal team! We will be back :)

We had a great stay at Snow Crystal - quick 3 minute walk to rentals and the lifts and to food and markets. Unit itself was well equipped with kitchen essentials and laundry. Luke at the front desk was also so helpful all throughout our stay helping us arrange rides and dinner reservations!
